Our juniors and seniors will perform a brand-new adaptation of Oscar Wilde's beloved classic, "The Importance of Being Earnest". Set in Victorian New England, our version of this quintessential comedy of manners retains all the mansions, tea parties, witty dialogue, hilarious characters, and cutting social commentary of the original. Our version also features musical numbers, using music by the great light opera composer Arthur Sullivan (of Gilbert & Sullivan) with original, re-worked lyrics, plus several new characters. Doors will open approximately 30 minutes before curtain. Appropriate for ages 5 and up. Play will run 90 minutes with a 15-minute intermission. Snacks and drinks available to purchase before the show and during intermission.
